The brief was to maximise the storage space within the laboratory whilst maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness. Klick designed island and perimeter units with shelves underneath which were all fabricated in Trespa, to suit the client's brief.

The school wanted an inspirational but practical space using simple materials and a neutral palette. Working space, display space and space to store their work were all key. The brief was to provide bespoke furniture to complement the rustic appearance of the buildings.
Installation of furniture and full refurbishment of 5 laboratories. Decoration & flooring renewed in two prep rooms and lobby area.
Work commenced in term time for this refurbishment of an outdated science block requiring a rolling programme throughout the summer. The school opted for a cranked island design with loose tables and selected 25mm Velstone as the worktop material.
The college opted for a modular building as a cost effective way of making provision for their new labs. The brief was to come up with something practical and yet different to suit the space. The 2 new labs were to accommodate 32 students with none having their backs to the board.
Installation of specialist fixed furniture for 69 rooms in new build school including 5 science labs & prep room, assorted music rooms & recording studio, food tech & prep, art rooms, textiles, resistant materials, ICT and assorted general classrooms.
Klick Technology were successful in winning the fitted furniture contract for the new high tech £17.5m Brannel School in January 2011. There was a tight schedule to manufacture the furniture and only 7 weeks allocated for installation on site.
