"Kier were delighted as main contractor to appoint Klick as their fitted furniture specialists. With a competitive price and many of the Callywith team having previously worked with Klick, it was an easy choice. They have responded well to a demanding programme and have met all deadlines. Their operations team was one step ahead with every detail and were proactive in addressing any site issues. The client is very happy with the quality of furniture and I hope to work with them in the near future!"

Callywith College was funded as a Free School under the EFA national funding formula. As a new college in mid-north Cornwall its purpose is to improve A level results in that region. The brief was to manufacture and install the fitted furniture for the new build college within a 5 week lead time. Klick were selected for their proven track record with Kier and their ability to deliver a competively priced project within a limited time frame.
Kier benefitted from our pre-summer discount and placed an order for work to commence in April. The timescales were very tight and therefore a room sequence was established. Design freeze was agreed on each room in order and furniture was manufactured to the agreed schedule.
Callywith were looking for a clean look, appropriate for a further education college. Most of the fitted furniture selected has a neutral colour scheme but lime green doors were selected to inject colour into the science labs.
The science department opted for a larger service bollard in order to accommodate water, gas and electrical outlets in addition to a more spacious sink. Larger Velstone tables, fully welded and fitted with additional stretchers, were supplied to co-ordinate with the bollards in the science laboratories.
Kier were delighted to maintain continuity for the second installation phase by instructing Klick who had proved to be price competitive, on time and on budget.
