Project Brief
The science department wanted to maximise storage space within the new biology labs to improve efficiency and minimise clutter. A glass display cabinet was designed to coordinate with the beech furniture, tray storage units were incorporated for the storage of specimens and a bespoke skeleton display cabinet was supplied.
The teacher's bench was designed to house a DVD player, laptop and other interactive equipment.
The prep room featured several under counter bays designed to accommodate trolleys with equipment loaded ready for experiments. We also supplied a spray hose for the prep room to assist in the cleaning of equipment.
Klick constructed a stud wall to form a partition for the bag storage area, designed to keep clutter away from the practical area. The architect requested a robust design for this area and so Trespa slats were used in conjuction with steel framed shelves.
