Project Brief
The college required a layout that maximised the number of pupils accommodated in the room. The cranked island layout was selected with storage included under one side of the workbenches and a knee space under the other side, making the most of the available space. One perimeter workbench is included to the rear of the room with undermounted epoxy resin sinks. A teacher's demonstration bench is positioned to the front of the room. All worktops are 25mm Velstone.
Klick Technology installed a bench mounted docking station suitable for a mobile fume unit.
The client coordinated the strip out of the room and all decoration themselves. The project ran smoothly and was completed on time.
