Our fixed pedestal system of laboratory furniture is the company's most economical range, offering the greatest amount of storage and workspace for the price.
Base cabinets are positioned and site levelled. Work bench tops fix directly onto the under bench furniture thereby creating an extremely rigid and robust arrangement.
If there is no requirement to regularly relocate individual cabinets this is the perfect system to use.
Other than its restriction on mobility, the fixed pedestal system is manufactured to the same high standard as the more sophisticated furniture ranges we can provide. Access to service voids at low level is gained by removing the demountable panel in the back of all base cabinets.
Cantilever & Mobile
By supporting the work bench top on tubular steel legs the under bench cabinets are free to be removed and/or relocated by the user without disruption to the working space.
Leg supports are provided in 'C', 'H' and 'T' styles subject to the specific requirements of the project and intended application. An arrangement of metal cross rails link a leg support to its neighbour and this is repeated along the length of the bench run.
The service void at low level can be fully enclosed by adding cover panels to match the base cabinet carcase specification. These panels are removable for easy access to the service void.
Base cabinets can slide into position within the supporting steelwork or be easily wheeled on castors.
This furniture system is the most popular arrangement specified by our clients.
The work bench top is supported by tubular steelwork generally as described for our cantilever and mobile furniture systems.
However under bench cabinets are suspended from the steelwork leaving an easy to clean gap between the underside of the cabinet and laboratory floor.
3/4 height service void cover panels can also be provided. These panels are removable for easy access to the service void.
Cabinetry is available in melamine or laminate faced high density chipboard or MDF.
Frameworks are fully welded epoxy coated heavy gauge steel box section.
