Project Brief
The new dedicated science block is situated in a 3 floor extension to the school. Each floor has a different colour scheme with co-ordinating framework and tote trays.
Klick Technology were briefed by Pozzoni architects to develop room layouts for the Biology, Physics and Chemistry labs. A cranked Island layout was adopted to orientate the pupils towards the interactive whiteboard. Perimeter benching was added to accommodate tote storage trays, along with a separate area for bag storage. Docking stations were fitted to each lab for connection to a mobile fume cupboard.
Trespa wortops were selected for this bespoke design. Cupboards were incorporated into the island benches to accommodate the larger sinks selected by the school.
The project was a successful collaboration between Klick Technology, Pozzoni Architects, Greenwood Builders and the school.
