Project Brief
The brief was to design a modern and functional food technology room, with practical lessons being the priority. The room layout was a challenge as it needed to accommodate 15 ovens and a DDA area including an adjustable height table, hob and sink.
Several local companies were invited to submit their design proposals but the school selected Klick Technology's layout and chose to opt for the complete refurbishment package.
Velstone worktops were selected for ease of maintenance, hygiene and excellent heat resistance.
Work commenced prior to the summer holidays and was completed on time and to budget.
